Plant Engineer

Job Context

• Currently we are looking for a Plant Engineer for our Industrial Gas Plant located at Sitakundo, Chattogram. The right candidate will handle and coordinate daily activities at the plant including the performance of job described below.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct day-to-day operations as it relates to the industrial gas plant.
• Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
• Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time delivery
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
• Share a trusting relationship with team members and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
• Prepare Production Plan, Oversee and track daily inventory level and stocking activities.
• Monitor quality parameters of product, developing contingency plans for Plant safety and ensure readiness of LPG cylinders and bottling equipment
• Schedule preventive maintenance, minimize operation downtime and maximize productivity
• Provide a clear sense of direction and focus to all Supervising staff
• Monitor & enforce compliance to safety procedures
• Foster a cooperative and motivating spirit amongst staff

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in EEE

Experience Requirements

• 10 to 12 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  LPG Gas, LPG industry, Plant Operation
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Fuel/Petroleum, LPG Gas/Cylinder Gas

Additional Requirements

• Age 36 to 45 years
• Both males and females are allowed to apply
• Strong Operations Management Skills
• Good understanding on quality, compliance and safety management
• Good analytical and critical thinking
• Strong team building, Decision making and people management skills
